That is all there is. Anyone heading out in the evening without a plan has a modest choice, and the way back after a late performance is not a minor matter.

For travellers by car there is a point in the parking line here that no other house in this guide offers: the space costs nothing. At an address where many will arrive by car anyway, that is the most tangible advantage of the edge-of-town position. For the railway the opposite holds — the main station sits at the other end of the city, and arriving from there means planning a ride rather than a walk.

This suits travellers who need quiet, longer stays, visits to the university, and anyone who would rather run in a park in the morning than through the city centre. It does not suit a short city break in which every ride costs time, travellers who expect restaurants and nightlife outside the door, or guests unwilling to take the tram for every trip into the centre.
